Whitehaven Pinot Noir 2022

We are very impressed with this New Zealand Pinot Noir. Tastes more like a Burgundy than we would have guessed. Where many California Pinot Noir at this price point are either too tart or too Frankenstein’d to resemble a Pinot, this is smooth and elegant, like a Burgundy wine. Nice notes of strawberry and cherry, with an earthy undercurrent and a hint of leather.
