Mayor Pingree Rye is an archetypal example of rye flavours and aromas, presented impressively through a tremendously smooth and mild body that is very difficult to deliver in a four-year-old rye. The ‘nature-forward’ notes wild honey, rhubarb, and fresh hayloft collude very well with traditional notes of caramel, dusty oak and the grains hallmark spice finish to produce a quintessential snapshot of rye whiskey at four years along its aging journey.
