Wine Description
This white Pet Nat (Ptillant Naturel) from Vihno Verde region opens with a lightly cloudy straw hue, a natural result of its bottle-fermentation process. The nose bursts with lively aromas of green apple, citrus zest, pear skin, and a hint of fresh herbs. On the palate, it is vibrant and refreshing, showing a delicate sparkle that enhances its crisp acidity and notes of lemon, white peach, and crushed rocks. It is light-bodied with a zippy, clean finish that leaves a faint mineral trace. Composed primarily of indigenous Portuguese white varietals such as Arinto, Rabigato, and Cdega do Larinho, this Pet Nat is best enjoyed young, within 12 years of the vintage, to preserve its effervescent charm.
