Wine Description

The 2023 Barbera d’Alba showcases a deep ruby hue with violet reflections. On the nose, it offers elegant aromas of blackberry, sweet spices, and subtle floral notes. The palate is warm and full-bodied, featuring a harmonious balance of acidity and soft tannins, leading to a long finish of red fruits. Produced from 100% Barbera grapes sourced from 10 to 30-year-old vines grown in calcareous and sandy soils, the wine undergoes a 3-4 day maceration in rotary fermentors at controlled temperatures, followed by 5 months of aging in used French barriques.
