Description
This gin is a variation of the original Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin, which is slow-distilled by hand in medieval copper pot stills. The original gin is made with a combination of eight botanicals distilled in the pot still and four botanicals that are vapour-infused, including Chinese gunpowder tea, oriental grapefruit, Chinese lemon, and kaffir lime. The Brazilian Pineapple Gin adds a new layer of flavour with the inclusion of Brazilian pineapple. The gin’s taste profile is citrus-forward, with notes of juniper, grapefruit, and green tea, and a subtle spiciness. The Shed Distillery prioritizes organic and fair-trade practices, ensuring all botanicals are grown without harmful chemicals.
