Cointreau Noir

Cointreau Noir is a blend of Cointreau orange liqueur and Rmy Martin cognac, with an infusion of walnuts and almonds. It was inspired by a recipe called ‘Majestic’ that was created by douard Cointreau in the early 20th century. Cointreau is owned by Rmy Cointreau.

Description

Cointreau Noir has a clear, golden amber color. It offers a complex and opulent aromatic profile with notes of pungent orange zest, tangerine, vanilla, honey, gingerbread, nuts, and a touch of spice. On the palate, it is smooth, full-bodied, and lush. The flavor profile includes intense orange, marmalade, and bitter orange with notes of saffron, vanilla, and leathery, nutty cognac. The finish is long and bittersweet, with lingering notes of marmalade, vanilla bean, and a mellow cognac glow. The liqueur has a judicious sweetness that is balanced by the alcohol, creating a velvety and smooth texture. It is composed of about 70% Cointreau triple sec liqueur and 30% Rmy Martin cognac.
