Chteau Bourgneuf is a family-owned estate located in France, in the prestigious Pomerol appellation of Bordeauxs Right Bank. Since 1927, it has been owned and operated by the Vayron family, now in its eighth generation, with Frdrique Vayron at the helm. The estate covers 9 hectares of vineyards adjacent to Chteau Trotanoy, with a winemaking philosophy that balances tradition and precision.
This 2022 vintage offers a richly expressive sensory profile. Deep ruby in colour, it opens with aromas of black cherries, violets, graphite, and subtle oak spice. The palate is layered and concentrated, showing ripe plum, blackcurrant, and savoury minerality, supported by firm tannins and a polished texture.
Food Pairing
This elegant Pomerol pairs well with roasted lamb, duck breast, mushroom risotto, or aged cheeses like Comt or Gruyre. Together, they create an unforgettable dining experience.
