Wine Description
The 2019 Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano Riserva presents a deep ruby red hue, with garnet reflections indicating its careful aging. On the nose, it offers an elegant bouquet of ripe cherries, dried plums, violet, and subtle notes of tobacco and spice. The palate is full-bodied and refined, with layers of dark berry fruit, earthy undertones, and a hint of balsamic. Firm yet polished tannins provide structure, while vibrant acidity ensures a long and balanced finish. Crafted predominantly from Sangiovese (locally known as Prugnolo Gentile), it may include small amounts of complementary varietals. Best enjoyed between 2025 and 2034, this Riserva reflects both the tradition and finesse of Carpinetos winemaking.
