From the heart of Friuli in north-eastern Italy, Le Vigne di Zam is a family-run estate established in 1978 and now overseen by Tullio Zam and his family. The winery is known for combining tradition with innovation, focusing on varietal purity and expressing the distinct terroirs of Friuli. Their vineyards, situated across some of the regions finest hillsides, are cultivated with deep respect for the land and local winemaking heritage.
This wine is made entirely from Pinot Grigio grapes, one of Friulis most renowned white varietals. It shows a bright straw-yellow colour with coppery reflections. On the nose, it offers delicate floral notes layered with pineapple, banana, and subtle pear. The palate is fresh and rounded, with good body and a savoury mineral edge.
A versatile choice as an aperitif, this Pinot Grigio shines alongside shellfish, sushi, and light antipasti. It also pairs beautifully with delicate baked fish, vegetable soups, or creamy risottos.
