This makes for a rich with wonderful balance.

The 2013 Pinot Noir The Captain offers a pretty, floral, raspberry, spice and forest floor-scented personality to go with medium-bodied richness, fine tannin, and beautifully integrated acidity. Completely destemmed and aged 18 months in 50% new French oak, its a flat-out beautiful wine, and the only downside is that there are only 98 cases produced. Drink it anytime over the coming decade.
