ABOUT THE WINE
Crafted under the broad and flexible Cteaux Bourguignons appellation, LAigle et la Chouette reflects Tercets commitment to crafting vibrant, terroir-transparent wines outside the boundaries of Burgundys traditional hierarchies. The 2024 vintage is a blend of organically farmed Gamay and Pinot Noir from parcels across the Cte Chalonnaise and northern Mconnais, fermented with native yeasts and a high percentage of whole clusters. Aged in old barrels and concrete, the wine is bottled with minimal sulfur, preserving its purity and electric energy. Light-bodied yet layered, this wine is made for the tablepair it with roast duck, lentil stew, or grilled trout with herbs.

Tercet is a young, progressive micro-ngociant in Burgundy, focused on crafting small-batch, low-intervention wines from underrepresented appellations and vineyard sites. Founded by a trio of friends with backgrounds in viticulture, oenology, and gastronomy, the project emphasizes organic sourcing, wild fermentations, and minimal inputs in both vineyard and cellar.
