The Morellino di Scansano wine is primarily made from Sangiovese (locally known as “Morellino”) and is often compared to the more famous Chianti wines from northern Tuscany, but it has its own distinctive characteristics due to the different soils and climatic conditions of the Maremma region.
90% Sangiovese and 10% Ciliegiolo fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.

Fattoria Le Pupille is located in Scansano, a small town in southern Tuscanys Maremma region. The estate was founded in the 1980s by Elisabetta Geppetti, who has become one of the most influential women in Tuscan winemaking. Elisabetta transformed the estate into one of the top producers in the area, gaining international acclaim for her focus on producing high-quality wines that express the terroir of the region.
The estate is known for its sustainable farming practices and for combining traditional methods with modern winemaking technology.
