ABOUT THIS WINE
The Grands Crus of Gevrey Chambertin are located on a gentle slope facing
the east in the southern part of the town. The soil is calcareous in-depth and clayey
on the surface, which gives the wines both their power and their roundness. The grapes, characterized by very blackberries, are destemmed and vinified in vats open for about 4 weeks, thus fully revealing all the subtlety of this land. After devatting, the wines are put into oak barrels in our cellars, and raised for 18 months
