YA’cuvee23 is the result of an exploration of Artisanal Grower Cavas that took place in January 2010 in Alt Penedes. First we traveled to wineshops in Sant Sadurni D’Anoia and Villafranca del Penedes seeking out all the Brut Reserva and Rose Grower Cavas we could find. Then we chilled and “brown bagged” our find and eight thirsty souls from various nationalities gathered to “blind taste” more than 12 Estate grown Cavas at a large wooden table – after a spirited discussion the 4 winners were chosen with a resounding YA’!

Estate grown sustainably farmed, made from handpicked fruit, 100% free run juice and high quality methods (i.e. aging 2 years on the lees before disgorging like a true Champagne), making it especially perfect for a tasty bargain ‘good bubbly’.
