The Rivetti family story begins in the 1890s, and today is run by Giorgio Rivetti. A devout follower of organic viticulture, Giorgio planted barbera where tradition dictiated nebbiolo be grown. He defied traditionists and forged his own path believing that barbera was worthy of the best sites and could therefore produce a world class wine.
