2015 Heron Wines Merlot, Mendocino County, USA (750ml)

WINEMAKER’S NOTES:

Ripe black cherry fruit with subtle French oak & vanilla notes. Soft plummy flavors, followed by cassis and pomegranate.

This Merlot, with subtle herbal aromas, has bold structure and finishes with flavors of toffee and chocolate. The vineyard site in which these grapes are grown has well-drained, sandy soil and gentle rolling slope that ensures ripeness and rich Merlot fruit. Aged for 14 months in French, American and Hungarian oak barrels.
