WINEMAKER’S NOTES:

A Merlot for Cabernet lovers very dark ruby in color, the ripeness follows with aromas of candied fruit, black cherry and dark currant with a hint of mocha and espresso.The rich flavorful middle is framed by perfectly balanced natural acidity combining mouth-coating viscosity and a long lively finish. This wine’s strong structure and spice is from our own Howell Mountain fruit, while its round femininity comes from Calistoga to create a perfect textural balance.
