The 2016 vintage for Bolgheri, and Tuscany in general, is considered an excellent year. Ideal conditions throughout the season, including a mild winter, a warm summer without extreme temperature spikes, and a favourable day-to-night temperature swing during ripening, led to the development of exceptional aromatic components and excellent freshness in the grapes. The resulting wines are noted for being very well-balanced and displaying great elegance.
