Wine Description

The Fratelli Barolo Monvigliero 2020 is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. It has a brilliant ruby-garnet colour. The wine presents an expressive bouquet of rose petals, red cherry, wild herbs, anise, and white pepper, with additional notes of red berry, spice, leather, and liquorice. On the palate, it is vibrant and layered, with a silky texture and a balance of flavours like raspberry, pomegranate, tobacco, and earthy minerality. This medium to full-bodied wine has a long, ethereal finish. The wine is also noted for being organic and for its finesse, complexity, and elegance. It is best enjoyed between 2026 and 2042.
