This brut sparkling wine is delicate and vibrant on the palate, with a fine and persistent perlage. Before the disgorgement, the wine is aged on the lees for at least 24 months. Stella’s sparkling wine base is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. To characterize it with Brancaia style, the liqueur de expedition is enriched by a few drops of Il Bianco. This sparkling wine is named after Barbara Widmer’s daughter, Nina, who, as a child, loved to call sparkling wine bubbles stars.
Stella is ideal as an aperitif wine, but it is also perfect with fish crudites or vegetarian dishes. A favourite pairing: with tuna tartare.
