Dom Prignon is produced by Mot & Chandon, one of the most iconic Champagne houses in the world. Named after the Benedictine monk credited with pioneering key Champagne-making techniques, Dom Prignon represents the houses prestige cuve. The Plnitude 2 (P2) expression signifies a second maturation phase in the cellar, releasing the wine at a moment of heightened energy and complexity.
P2 2006 presents a luminous golden hue and a refined, expressive bouquet. Aromas unfold in layers: warm florals, dried citrus peel, stone fruit, and notes of toasted hazelnut, mocha, and brioche. On the palate, it is both broad and vibrant, with a creamy texture that gives way to fine mineral tension. The blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay is seamlessly integrated, offering depth and balance. The finish is long, saline, and subtly spiced. While drinking beautifully now, this Champagne has an extended aging potential well into the next decade. The wine is not certified organic.
