The 2021 “Filius” Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from estate-grown fruit in the Margaret River region, known for its ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, fermented with wild yeasts in open-top fermenters. It undergoes maturation in French oak barriques, with a portion being new oak, for 12 months. This approach results in a wine that is approachable in its youth yet capable of developing further complexity with age.
