France, Bordeaux, Pauillac. Echo de Lynch Bages is the esteemed second wine of Chteau Lynch Bages, one of Pauillacs most renowned estates. The property, owned by the Cazes family since 1939, is celebrated for producing wines that balance power with elegance, showcasing the unique gravel terroir of the Mdoc.
This vintage presents a deep ruby hue with violet reflections. The nose offers layered aromas of cassis, blackberry, and blueberry, intertwined with subtle notes of graphite, tobacco leaf, and a hint of mint. On the palate, it reveals a medium to full body with fine tannins, a supple texture, and lively acidity. Flavours of blackcurrant, forest herbs, and cocoa unfold with precision, leading to a mineral-tinged, persistent finish.
Ideal pairings include grilled ribeye, roast lamb, or venison with herb jus. Mature hard cheeses such as aged Comt or sharp cheddar also complement the wines dark fruit and earthy notes.
