Tinto Negro 2019 ‘Vineyard 1955’

One of Mendozas great viticultural riches are the beautiful old vine vineyards of La Consulta. The 2014 Tinto Negro Vineyard 1955 is located on the border of La Consulta and Altamira. Thepalateis rich, round and soft, with concentrated spicy black fruitanda hint of chocolate. The grapes are picked three times to create a complex mix of fruit at various stages of ripeness. Add some dried herbs and a touch of orange oil and you have a very attractive red wine you can drink now or hold through 2025.
