Folonari was founded in 1825 in the Veneto region of northeast Italy by Francesco Folonari. From the very beginning, the founders wanted to create exceptional wines for everyday occasions. The Folonari lion symbol on our labels conveys the unique spirit of the brand. Inspired by the original lion illustration from the Veneto flag with a fresh twist to the Lion of St. Mark, it boldly celebrates the history of the brand paying homage to its origins.

Light to medium ruby colour; intense spicy bouquet, cassis, chestnut and cedar flavours; dry, medium bodied, smooth, nutty, spicy berry flavors; well balanced, rich, dry finish
