Tuli Pinot Noir Sonoma County 2023

Joe Wagner has garnered a reputation for building some crowd-pleasing Pinot Noir. His latest venture, “Tuli Pinot Noir,” is aged for eight to nine months in French oak barrels It is a dark scarlet red with bing cherry and blackberry pie aromas that support lively flavours of dark berry fruit, vanilla, anise and dried herbs. The lingering finish is smooth and velvety. Savoury dishes like portobello mushroom stuffed with sausage, beef stroganoff or a pizza with a creamy white sauce topped with chicken and artichoke hearts work well with this wine.
