Nugan Shiraz Mclaren Parish 2022

This is an old school style of South Aussie Shiraz, all power and ripeness, but there’s plenty to like in the juicy plum and bramble berry, chocolate, mint and other herbal notes. Tannins are chewy but supportive of all that supple fruit on the muscular palate. Mealy, chocolaty oak is a little prominent, but the varietal character still wins out.
