2015 Bruno Giacosa Falletto Barolo

Bruno Giacosa has established himself as one of the iconic winemakers not only in the Piedmont but in the world, with a career spanning nearly eight decades. Now run by his daughter Bruna, the winery produces this single vineyard Barolo from a 10.5 hectare estate in Serralunga dAlba, which Bruno has considered the best area for producing elegant and long-lived Barolos. Made in the traditional style, with a three week maceration in temperature controlled stainless steel and then aged for three years in neutral French botti.
