Initially revealing roasted and cocoa notes, the nose of Dom Prignon Vintage 2015 gradually opens up to a floral bouquet of linden, jasmine and peony, revealing a sublime spicy dimension. A vegetal and fruity freshness then manifests itself, with aromas of chlorophyll, orange peel and green papaya.
In the mouth, the champagne unfolds first delicately, then generously. The flesh of fresh peach and nectarine envelops notes of citrus and gentian, before extending on a remarkable length.
TASTING NOTES:
A super-complex Champagne with chewy tension. Aromas of coffee beans, lemon peel, burnt sugar, chalky minerality, barley candy and tarte tatin. Fine pinprick bubbles with flavors of lemon leaves, aspirin and Mirabelle plums, plus a touch of grapefruit bitterness keeping the tension. Zesty yet integrated chewy acidity and a medium body with a toasted finish. Drink of hold.
