The Bofani vineyard in the prestigious Bussia subzone of Monforte d’Alba is considered among the finest sites for Nebbiolo, known for its complexity and ageing potential.
Wine Description
This single-vineyard Barolo presents a deep garnet hue with subtle orange reflections. The nose is enveloping and layered, offering aromas of dried rose petals, black cherry, tobacco, and forest floor, with a hint of truffle and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, showing ripe red fruits, licorice, and earthy undertones. Tannins are firm yet finely integrated, supporting a long, persistent finish.
