Hailing from France, Leclerc Briant Brut Reserve Champagne comes from the heart of Champagne, specifically the pernay area in the Marne Valley. Founded in 1872, Champagne Leclerc Briant is a historic estate that has been a pioneer in biodynamic practices within the region. Now owned by an American couple, the winery continues its legacy under the direction of Herv Jestin, emphasizing minimal intervention and respect for the terroir.
This Champagne reveals a brilliant golden straw hue with a lively stream of fine bubbles. Aromas are vibrant and layered, showing notes of crisp green apple, lemon zest, toasted brioche, and delicate floral hints. On the palate, it offers a harmonious balance of freshness and depth, with flavours of pear, almond, and subtle minerality that lead to a refined, creamy finish. The wine has a medium body with a bright, persistent mousse.
Perfect alongside oysters, shrimp tempura, or a delicate goat cheese tart. This pairing highlights the wines depth and character.
