ABOUT THE WINE
Grown in the cooler, alluvial soils of the Sgarzon vineyard in the Campo Rotaliano plain, this Teroldego benefits from a unique microclimate that heightens freshness and aromatic lift. The 2023 vintage was fermented spontaneously in clay amphorae (tinajas) and remained on its skins for 8 months, extracting depth while maintaining tension. The result is a wine of striking purity and structural elegance, offering notes of wild plum, licorice root, lavender, and crushed stone. Farming is biodynamic and fully regenerative, emphasizing vine vitality and soil health. Pair with grilled lamb, mushroom risotto, or alpine cheeses to echo its earthy complexity.
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Foradori, led by Elisabetta Foradori and now increasingly shaped by her children, has long been a benchmark for biodynamic viticulture and authentic alpine expression. Located in Trentinos Campo Rotaliano, the estate has championed Teroldego’s renaissance, nurturing the variety back from obscurity through massale selection and meticulous farming. Their holistic approach integrates animals, compost, and natural cycles into the vineyard ecosystem. With amphora aging, minimal intervention, and a deep respect for terroir, Foradori produces wines that reflect both precision and soul, rooted deeply in tradition yet entirely of the present.
