On the nose, it offers aromas of blackcurrant jelly, redcurrant preserves, boysenberries, and pencil lead, complemented by hints of lilacs, Sichuan pepper, and cedar chest. The full-bodied palate is structured with firm tannins and delivers mouth-coating black fruits with red berry sparks, finishing with a refreshing mineral lift.
